ICT Backergate

RNS' Backer Gates are manufactured of extruded aluminum to surround the board under test and allow for mounting of push elements and sensors. As well as protecting the board it also keeps it flat and free of stress. This fixture design is suitable for a large variety of products. If points on the top of the board require testing, a pneumatic Top Access Unit (TAU) can be designed and incorporated.

Our most common fixture contains a backer gate, also known as a Mechanical Over-Clamp.

ICT Vacuumcover

A second fixture type we build is the
"Vacuum Box".
This unit utilizes the tester vacuum to lower the board under test onto the test points with the aid of the upper plate with push elements.

We constantly design variations of this product. and appreciate challenges that allow us to continually expand our considerable library.

ICT Wireless

The Translator-Board, or also called Transfer board, and double-sided test probes eliminates the nest of signal wires.
A wireless test fixture is mostly used for complex boards with very high node counts.
 

ICT Pneumatic

If vacuum is not an option and node count exceeds the capability of a manual fixture, a Pneumatic Fixture may be the answer.
RNS has developed and built pneumatic fixtures to satisfy this need. Turn to RNS to solve all your test fixture needs.

ICT -ZSK

If a particular application requires testing of top side points the use of a vacuum box a ZSK or clamshell unit is the answer.
While similar to other companies' vacuum clamshells, RNS' ZSK contains proven innovations that give it superior action and reliability above others.

Any of the aforementioned hold-down systems can be equipped with mechanical and/or pneumatic Side & Top Access Units (SAU, TAU). These units are used to probe connectors or other components mounted perpendicular to the unit under test.

We also provide both standard and custom inducer units for testing.

According to the application, the tester and customer specifications, we utilize Test-Jets, Polarity Checks, Opens Express, Junctions Express, Frame-Scan Plus.
